Route can be started from the Leirvassbu hut or from parking along the way to the hut. From the car park, stay low in the valley as long as possible. Gain the terrace below Geite and traverse to the Björnbrean.
From Storebjörn it’s possible to ski down close to left edge to reach base of Veslebjörn. Both peaks require some scrambling at the end where crampons and ice axe might be useful.
Route is below 30 degrees most of the time, excluding scrambling at the end, but goes through avalanche zones below Geite. We didn’t have rope as the snow cover was super hard, but there are definitely crevasses on the glacier…
