Long tour with some flat sections but really nice top with with varying terrain and really good skiing.

Start from Bessheim Fjellstue. Follow nordic ski tracks or other tracks up to Bessvatnet. Normal approach goes through the lake. Alternatively you can follow our gps track and avoid some avalanche terrain going up from the lake. Based on this experience probably not worth it 🙂
Follow the ridge from 1500m to 2000m and then straight to top. Ski back the same way.
Skiing across the lake feels like forever, be prepared. Snow down near the Bessheim was very warm in the afternoon…
Approaching on the north side of the lake. Near the top ridge is relatively narrow, maybe 10 meters. Arriving to the top View from the top Skiing down with surprisingly good snow View of the mountain from the lake. Safest route up followth the ridge fro the right side of the picture.
