Remote tour only accessible when road 55 is opened. Great combination of two peaks.

Store Smørstabbtinden
Great tour to the middle of the glaciers without actually travelling on any. Visits three peaks: Store Smørstabbtinden, Storbreatinden and Veslbreatinden.

Storebjörn & Veslebjörn
Nice outing, combining two “björns” (meaning bears). Best views around Smörstabbtinden.

Sauen & Geite
Great route up to the middle of Smörstabbtindane with best of views. Goes up in places on a steep glacier.

Skogshorn
Good ski tour on the edge of the Hemsedal. Mostly above treeline.

Petit Flambeau & Aiguille de Toule
Best way to experience Glacier du Géant? Walk from midi to Torino visitin a few smaller peaks and take panorama lift back.

Arête de la Table
Nice variant to reach Aiguille du Tour. Climbing “the table” is quite an undertaking.

Gran Paradiso
Highest peak of Italy. Relatively easy, mostly walking on snow. Summit ridge involves some scrambling. Very nice 4k summit for beginners.

Austanbottstind traverse
Classic traverse in Jotunheimen done in the wrong direction. Never too hard but lots of scrambling.
