The absolute best traverse in Jotunheimen! Long ridge, with 3 pitch climbing section in the middle. Can be extended to store Smörstabbtinden for a really long day.

Ridgeline can be accessed from multiple points. Map below shows probably the easiest way. You can also go straight to Skeie northridge as shown here. Also accessible directly from the glacier to saddle between Kalven and Skeie.
From the ridge getting to Skeie involves three pitches of climbing between 3 to 4. Good map of the route also here.
Rest of the ridge is relatively easy scrambling with few rappels after veslbjörn. We came down from the saddle before Sokse. Route can be continued all the way to Store Smörstabbtinden for the whole “Smörstabbtindentraverse”.

Getting down from Veslebjörn includes some downclimbing, rappelling and crossing narrow section on the ridge.
