Hidden gem of the Lofoten. Long traverse in the middle of the islands. Not very difficult, but long and with great views.

Start from the gravel parkin along the main road. Follow good paths easily to the first peak Kvittinden (517m). From there you can see the whole traverse.
Follow the ridgeline. Mostly walking and scrambling mixed with some easy grade 3 pitches. From the highest point turn left and find you way down back to the road. This is the hardest part of the route. Don’t trust our gpx track. There is probably better way available.
Essential gear we had

The whole traverse seen from the first peak.
Route involves also quite a lot of easier terrain in between the more narrow sections.
Near the end of traverse. Lot of grassy sections in between the rocky parts.
