Route involves high altitude with risk of altitude sickness, extreme wind and cold: high-altitude experience and acclimatization required!

Route involves steep snow with risk of falling: crampon and self arrest skills required!

Nice long ridge, mostly on snow and glacier. Best views towards Mont Blanc.

Route is quite remote. Requires at least one night in Refuge des Conscrits. Approach to the hut is nice, well marked hike with close to 1600m of elevation gain from Le Cugnon. We slept one night in the hut on the way up. Second day the traverse and walk back, close to 3000m desent.

Route can be taken on either direction. We started with the glacier crossing.
